Aide et Action (AEA) is a non-government organization, with its headquarter located in Paris, France. AEA initiated its program in India in 1981 and is now dedicating to support the development of sustainable educational projects in China and other 20 countries.
There are still nearly one hundred million illiterates in China, and most of them are rural women. AEA China has started the work of women literacy education since 2006. In order to better understand and study the policies, strategies, actions and impacts of women literacy education in rural areas, accumulate relevant experience and advance the work effectively, AEA is now looking for intended volunteers.
Position: Volunteers for Women Literacy Education Program Place of Work: Gansu, Ningxia and Guizhou Numemers wanted: 3 Applying deadline: April 20th Main work: 1. Accept relevant trainings, including knowledge of program background and research methods etc. (May-June, 2010) 2. Submit research plan. (June, 2010) 3. Visit the program sites for field work and research. (July-Oct. 2010, at least 3 continuing months working in program sites) 4. Submit monthly work reports under certain supervision. (July-Dec. 2010) 5. Submit final survey reports. (Dec. 2010) Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate students, have recognition about gender issue. 2. Have relevant abilities and experience for field study. 3. Adapt to hard living environment and willing to do field work in program sites for at least 3 continuing months. 4. Diligent, passionate and responsible. 5. Nice cooperating and communicating skills. Welfares: 1. Provide trainings focusing on education, community development and gender study. 2. Afford insurance, traveling and accommodation fees during the contract period. 3. Allowance per month. 爱达迅助学行动（Aide et Action）是一个非营利性国际组织，成立于1981年，总部设在法国巴黎。目前在中国等22个国家和地区开展教育发展项目。
中国目前还有近一亿的文盲、半文盲，其中大部分是农村妇女。爱达迅助学行动（Aide et Action）中国项目办公室自2006年开始从事妇女扫盲和赋权工作。为了实地研究妇女扫盲的政策、策略、行动方式和成效提升，总结经验，推动农村妇女扫盲工作的有效开展，特此招聘志愿性研究者。
