11月社会性别与发展聚会将提前到10月最后一个周四：10月30日举行。

当前，社会性别主流化已经成为促进实现性别平等的重要全球战略，在中国它也受到越来越多的关注。本次聚会邀请了丹麦哥本哈根大学社会学系的Hilda Rømer Christensen 博士，介绍欧盟的相关经验以及其中的争论，以期为我们提供一个重要的视角和经验，并展开讨论。

本次讲座将用英语进行，有中文翻译。

主题：欧盟的社会性别平等政策和社会性别主流化

内容提要：

目前在整个欧盟地区已经成为在执行社会性别主流化战略方面的全世界的一个实验室。2007年，欧盟发起了“所有人的平等”的运动。本次讲座就是在这一运动和妇女运动的背景下，来探讨社会性别主流化如何作为一个有争议的平等策略。本次讲座将聚焦在欧盟层面和国家层面妇女运动和非政府组织与各种层面上的政治和行政机构的复杂的动态关系和革新的过程。希望探讨目前欧盟的社会性别主流化和平等主流化的战略，彼此间是互相加强了？还是互相阻碍和抵消？欧盟的策略如何能与转型时期的和全球的视角和经验相联系？

主讲者简介：

Dr. Hilda Rømer Christensen博士是丹麦哥本哈根大学社会学系副教授，性别研究项目主任。她在20世纪的社会性别、福利国家、妇女运动和宗教等交叉研究领域中发表了许多论文和书籍。她还参与和主持了北欧地区的许多跨国研究项目。目前她参与了欧盟关于社会性别、公民权和流动的一些研究项目。她本人的研究重点是欧盟的社会性别、现代性、宗教和关于平等的话语。

社会性别与发展每月聚会是在北京的一些关心社会性别与发展议题的妇女研究者和妇女工作者、NGO成员自发组成的交流平台。就某个性别与发展的议题每月邀请一些发言者介绍他们的研究成果、访问心得等等，并就相关话题展开讨论。欢迎各界朋友参加。

Gender mainstreaming, women's movements and Equality for all. 

Europe as a laboratory of the World?

Abstract:

By now the European Union has represented itself as the laboratory of the world in terms of implementation of the gender mainstreaming strategy in a whole region.

The paper will address gender mainstreaming as a contested equality strategy in the context of women’s movements and the Equality for all campaign launched by the European Union in 2007. The focus will be on the dynamic and innovative processes between the women’s movements/NGOs and the political and administrative levels both at the EU and at national levels. Do current strategies of gender mainstreaming and equality mainstreaming enforce or counteract each other? How do the European strategies link to transnational and global perspectives and experiences?

Bio of the speaker:

Dr. Hilda Rømer Christensen, Associate  professor. Ph.d.,  head of the Co-ordination for Gender Studies,  Department of Sociology, University of Copenhagen. She has published  and edited books, anthologies and articles in the intersecting fields of gender, welfare state, women’s movements, and religion in the 20th century. She has been involved in and co-ordinated several research projects and networks at Nordic and international levels. Currently she is involved in several EU research projects on gender, citizenship and mobility. Her own  research focuses on  gender, modernity, religion  and on equality discourses in Europe.
